Use the Strayer University Library and the Internet to research three major international competitors within your chosen industry.
Then, from the position of the global strategic manager, write a 1-2 page paper in which you:
Discuss how the popular international business press (newspapers, magazines, e-zines, press releases, and so on) portrays each competitor.
Use at least two sources to support your writing. Choose sources that are credible, relevant, and appropriate. Cite each source listed on your source page at least one time within your assignment. For help with research, writing, and citation, access the library or review library guides.

Start with the IBIS World database, which will provide you with the names of major competitors in an industry, as well as important success factors for competing in the industry. Use the IBISWorld Library Guide to get started.
Business Source Ultimate provides access to company information, SWOT Analyses, and Industry information. Find it in the Database List.The Special Features page in the database library guide shows how to get started looking for company information.
You can perform targeted searches for certain types of sources as well. With the company name in the main Search box, select Advanced Search and look down into the Search Options:For industry information, select Document Type: Industry Overview, then Search.
To access company SWOT analyses, select Publication Type: SWOT Analysis.
