The nervous system is made up of the central and peripheral nervous system. As the nurse prepares to assess and care for clients with neurosensory disorders, the goal of this assignment is to facilitate learning about specific neurosensory diagnostics and procedures that are commonly used when evaluating clients presenting with neurosensory complaints.
Tasks
Complete the NUR 215 Neurosensory Disorders Chart with assessment data pertinent to each neurosensory disorder.
Include pertinent medical management and nursing care for each disorder (ie. medical management for seizure disorder- patient safety & medications/nursing care for seizures-set up suction at the bedside, maintain IV access, etc.)
