One of your professors shared how they created a vision board to achieve their short-term and long-term goals during a lecture. You decide to create a professional vision board focused on your early childhood career goals.
InstructionsFor this assignment, you will create a vision board of your goals and professional development plans.First, determine how you will create your vision board:A digital vision board can be created using tools like SmartArt in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Spark, Piktochart, etc.
Or a physical vision board can be created with poster boards (using various materials like magazine/newspaper clippings, glue sticks, markers, glitter, etc.).
Next, conduct research to find at least six images that represent your professional goals in the field of early childhood education. Lastly, create a vision board that:Describes each of the six selected images (at least six) and how they relate to your professional goals.
Discusses three career-focused goals with at least two action steps to achieve each goal (six action steps total) and an estimated timeline to accomplish each goal.
Suggestions for career-focused goals include but are not limited to:
Join a community of practice/professional organization
Strengthen communication between home and school
Promote family involvement
Cultivate a multicultural learning environment
Integrate technology into the classroom
Design lesson plans that address diverse learning styles and preferences
