1)Police officers and other criminal justice professionals play in important role in maintaining law and order. Their primary responsibilities are to enforce the law, protecting public safety, and ensuring the well-being of communities. Police officers are in charge of enforcing the law and keeping the public order. They respond to calls for help, investigate crimes, apprehend suspects, and collect evidence to support criminal cases. Their presence and proactive patrols aid in deterring criminal activity and providing a sense of security in communities.
Detectives and investigators in the criminal justice system specialize in conducting thorough. Their goal is to discover the truth, identify those responsible, and gather enough evidence to prosecute.
2)Police officers and other civil servants are expected to withhold this brand and this reputation of what is expected of them. Their role especially for police officers would be to protect and serve their community. They are expected to treat everyone equally when they interact with them. They have this job to gain the public’s trust and make sure that they are respected well within their communities that they serve. Anyone who is a part of the criminal justice system has these expectations that they have to follow and they are required to meet those expectations and standards that have been set. When a lawyer becomes a part of the criminal justice system they are expected to be a certain way and are required to meet the expectations that are set for them by their boss or by the courts. I believe that the expectations and standards have not been set fairly because if lawyers or judges were to do some of the things that police officers do they would be punished for half the things. Professionals entering the criminal justice system can live up to the existing standards and expectations by following and meeting what is required of them. In order to be the change you have to make the change. I say that because existing standards and expectations require you to change how you think and how you act, you have to be able to stay neutral in a lot of situations and you have to think about what’s currently going on in the world and how you can find a solution to make things better.
