Classroom management theories are formulated to explain, predict, and understand

Classroom management theories are formulated to explain, predict, and understand phenomena and, in many cases, to challenge and extend existing knowledge within the limits of critical bounding assumptions. Throughout this course, you will be reading about several different classroom management theories, each with a theoretical framework structured to hold or support each theorist’s Model of Classroom Management.
