Descriiption: Using the material from the lessons we have been studying, Lec 1-4, you will create a 1 to 1.5 minute video which displays your oral speaking skills in Spanish.(details below…)
The final product just needs to highlight YOU and your speaking skills in Spanish. I am leaving it open for various types of creations, but will list some suggestions below to give you an idea…
What vocab/structures do you need to include?
Focus on the language/contextos from Lec 1-4. (If you go to the last page of each lesson in the Vtext, there is a complete vocab list.)
Please use simple language from these lessons!
Review the “Contextos” and “Estructura” from Lec 1-4 in your vText.
I don’t expect you to be fluent! You are beginners and should sound like beginners. The idea is to evaluate you on the material we have been studying.

REQUIRED LANGUAGE YOU MUST USE IN YOUR VIDEO: The video is in SPANISH, of course!
For full credit, complete all 5 parts…
Part 1: Your introduction in SPANISH:
state your name and age using “tener” (you can totally lie about your age. I don’t care about the age, but just the grammar!)
say the date and time
state your location (use estar) (You don’t need to be geographically specific. Say “estoy en la ciudad or en casa” etc.
Part 2: LEC 4 – discussing Hobbies, Sports, Pasatiempos (this can be a conversation/interview/skit/ report, etc)
After the introduction, you should tell us a little bit about yourself, your interests/pasatiempos…
at least 4-6 sentences total
3 statements using verbs from Lec 1-4 AND ASK TWO QUESTIONS using the verbs we are studying in the “Tú “form.
You can simply tell us about your hobbies/sports you like or don’t like. The idea is to use the Lec 4 vocabulary.
Feel free to be creative–this doesn’t have to be “factual”. I am more interested in your ability to use the vocabulary/verbs we are studying!
Part 3: Closing
-Say thank you and good-bye/see you later etc.

You can type out this assignment in Spanish and provide the English so that I can know what is being said to be able to translate.
You do have to make a video but an audio recording is required along with the document.
