After Reading the NASW Code of Ethics, please prepare a review of the NASW Code of Ethics. This review should be completed in APA style to include a 12-point Times New Roman font and should be double spaced with one-inch margins. Your Code of Ethics Review will include a Title page and a Reference Page. Please use in-text citations according to APA style. If you use information that is not original, you must include an in-text citation and reference for the source of the information. Please review APA resources included in Module 1 to assist you with APA style.
This Code of Ethics Review should be 2-4 pages in length. Below are the following headers I am requesting for this assignment:
Purpose of the NASW Code of Ethics (1/2 page): Why are the various parts of the NASW Code of Ethics present and what do they mean to you.
Ethical Values (1/2 – 3/4 page): Pick 2 Ethical Values and state what they mean to you personally and how you will apply them to your upcoming internship and future employment in the social work field.
Ethical Principles (1/2 – 3/4 page): Describe the ethical principles listed in the Code of Ethics and discuss their application in social work practice and ethical decision making.
Ethical Standards Reflection (1 page): Identify four (4) standards from the NASW Code of Ethics and how you think they should be incorporated into ethical decision making related and direct practice.
Code of Ethics Reflection (1/2 page): Reflect on the impact reading the NASW Code of Ethics has had upon you as you begin your MSW and consider your placement and internship. Reflect on any new insights you gained. Demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking and the ability to have original thought.
