In our body, two of the paragraphs will be about one topic.

This will be a research paper. Using what I have written in the “Summary Essay,” that is attached, you will also add information that establishes support using quotes from the articles. You will follow the MLA guidelines for writing a research paper. Remember, if words and ideas are not your words and ideas, you must cite which article you found the words and ideas. Your paper should have no fewer than 1000 words. There is a total of 8 paragraphs.
Your introductory paragraph should have no fewer than 5 sentences and the last sentence should be the thesis statement. The introduction paragraph needs to have a hook. It has to grab the attention of the reader.
Each body paragraph (There are 6) should have no fewer than 6 sentences, start with a topic sentence and include transitions at the end. In our body, two of the paragraphs will be about one topic. So 3 topics total. The first paragraph, for each topic, will be the opposite view. The second paragraph will prove that those who take an opposing view are wrong. All six paragraphs need to have a quote in each one of them. The quote should be in the second to last sentence in each paragraph. Make sure you introduce the quote as well. EX: The author states, “…”.
The concluding paragraph should be no fewer than 5 sentences long, and it should summarize the main points of your argument.
Your paper will have a “Works Cited” page with the three sources used in the summary essay attached. Try to incorporate 2 more sources from the same place where the other sources are from. We must use paragraph numbers in the in-text citations. We don’t have to limit our research to just those three articles. We can use other articles. We just have to make sure we cite everything. Make sure that your paper does not contain 2nd person pronouns, 1st person pronouns, contractions, and unsupported ideas or comments.
