In these two assignments, students will select from one of the required or supplementary articles assigned as a course reading up to that point in the semester. Article reviews are intended to be brief (4 pages double-spaced max.) but thoughtful evaluations of the research in question. In the review, I expect to see a careful summary and discussion of the research question being addressed, the methods and results, and the conclusions presented in the article. I also expect you to devote at least one paragraph to any issues of critique you had while reading the article. Citations are only necessary when paraphrasing directly quoting the article, and can be in APA or MLA format. Article summaries will be graded based on accuracy and detail, quality of the writing, structure, and organization of the assignment.
