Work should be about 3-4 pages, typed and double spaced. You don’t need any special formatting, but I highly recommend using the different parts of the question as headings to keep yourself organized.
This is not a formal essay; you do not need to have an intro or conclusion – you can just directly answer each part of the question. Your paper is clearer if you start a new paragraph for each part of your response.
Your response needs to refer to the required readings without copying exact phrases and sentences. You should use key terms and words in your answer to show that you understand the course material, but explain them in your own words. If you do use quotes/exact words from the readings, you need to cite properly (see below).
Do not use outside sources; the point is to show that you can integrate the main ideas from the unit.
