Learning Goal: I’m working on a nursing exercise and need a reference to help me learn.Visual Presentation: The purpose of this assignment is for you to use the knowledge you’ve gained in this course to present on a topic from the course, related to the patient you choose for your concept map in clinical. You will pick a topic of your choosing based on a patient you’ve cared for in clinical, and submit it to Professor Smith for approval. You will then develop a 10 minute presentation in which you will discuss the condition, the patient’s presentation, the usual care based on the condition, nursing interventions necessary for the patient, and any other relevant information. You will develop a power point to augment your presentation. You will record yourself presenting, and submit it during week 9. See rubric below. Category Audio/Visual Presentation Scoring Criteria Total Points Score Organization (10 percent) The type of presentation is appropriate for the topic and audience. 5 Information is presented in a logical sequence. 5 Presentation appropriately cites requisite number of references. 5 Content (50 percent) Introduction is attention-getting, lays out the topic well, and establishes a framework for the rest of the presentation 5 Defines background and importance of relevant interventions 5 Presentation contains accurate information 10 Material included is relevant to the overall message/purpose. 10 Appropriate amount of material is prepared, and points made reflect well their relative importance 10 There is an obvious conclusion summarizing the presentation. Summarizes major points of talk

Maintains eye contact with audience (camera)
