One of the goals of the treatment center that you work at is to eventually open a new, modern treatment facility. You will decide the current treatment models that will be used in the field and the current issues that will need to be addressed. Please make recommendations to propose a plan for a new center.
Before starting this assignment, decide on the style of treatment center that you are going to recommend.
Choose one treatment model that will be used in the type of treatment facility that you will propose. In addition, what two issues will your plan address? For example, you might choose one of the following issues:
Dual diagnosis issues
MR/DD and addictions
Mental illness and addictions
Addictions and violence
Domestic violence
Violence in the workplace
Criminal activity
Sexual abuse
Child abuse and neglect
Your proposal should be 4-6 pages long and detail the approach that the new treatment center should take to address the issues. Be sure to include both short- and long-term goals.
The director will review your plan and may ask for additional information before they send the final plan to the investors of the center. Your plan should include the following:
Recommendation for new facility
Type of facility
Model of treatment
Objective: 2 current issues to be addressed
Plan for addressing issues
