Using one of the following prompts, write an exemplification essay:
1. Choose a movie or TV show. What lessons can be learned from watching?
2. What impact does the Amazon have on many small businesses?
3. Do spices need to be put into baby’s food?
This is an exemplification essay which means it needs LOTS of EXAMPLES in each body paragraph.
On the first page of the essay, include an outline ( file attached)
Write the thesis statement that will be at the end of the introductory paragraph.
On the second page, begin your draft. It must be typed using the basic MLA page formatting guidelines.
Remember that your essay needs to have an introductory paragraph. Consider talking about the history, etymology, or current event correlation regarding your topic. The introductory paragraph also needs to have a three-part thesis statement. The three-part thesis statement should be the last sentence of your introductory paragraph. Follow the key features of a thesis statement when creating yours. Be sure that the body paragraphs have topic sentences and enough examples within each body paragraph for support. Finally, your essay needs a concluding paragraph restating your thesis and the main facts from each paragraph. You need to have at least two in-text citations and a works cited page.
