Reflective practice will be an integral part of this course.  A written reflection of the assigned readings will be sent to me night before the class in which chapters will be discussed class. Each reflection will include a max 4 page narrative (not a list) about your most “significant learnings” or “aha’s” as well as how you will use your new learnings and/or how they will influence your behavior as a leader.
Your reflection should address/label each assigned reading and include quotes/Page numbers and a connection to your current reality. Anything else you wish to share is also welcome. 
Your entries will reflect current knowledge and insights specific to the curriculum topics being addressed including my presentations and class seminar discussions. 
Reflections should also identify and integrate the language of the SDL standards into the narrative of EACH assigned reading text. 
Reflections are due NO LATER than the following class in which readings will be discussed.  Each reflection includes comments about the readings which were assigned to be completed for that class.
