Now that we have covered the baseline knowledge, it is time to get to the practical application of this knowledge. To that end, we are going to establish our baseline systems for testing. To complete this we are going to generate a pair of virtual machines, one to be the testbed and the other the offensive platform.
For this we are going to need to install a virtual machine, and with it the hypervisor platform, in this instance VirtualBox.

After this you will need to get your ISOs, or disk images to be loaded into VirtualBox.
