You will compile a report about a specific aspect of London culture to rationally justify your prediction
for how this selected topic will evolve to influence attitudes and behavior in London in three years time.
As your research journal continues to build into a personal resource of London focused observations
you will be required to reflect upon this material to stimulate further independent research. You will be
required to set yourself a research question based on your personal relationship with London. This
chosen topic must reference an aspect of London’s commercial, creative, economic or social culture
that you have an affinity with in some way. Through gathering information about the past and what is
happening now you will evolve an argument that will conclude with a prediction about London in three
years time.

Topic: How is the cultural landscape of London is Affected by Artisanal Tea Shops
My research report will mainly talk about:
How have the abundance of artisanal tea shops affected social interactions in London?
(ex. what role does a tea shop play in the city and how do they operate to attract customers)
What do the tea shops aim to offer to their customers?
And what effects can we expect them to have on the city’s cultural structure in three years?
(ex. Teahouses are not only places where tea is served, but also places for social interaction and cultural exchanges.)This is a potentially propositional if not provocative task. Abstract and non linear approaches can be
very impactful. Justification of final opinion through evolved evaluation of substantial research is key. Format: A 2000 word report illustrated with appropriate visuals (Harvard Style)
