Much of this info is included in Unit 2, but you are welcome to explore beyond what is provided for the sake of your learning and your paper. This section should have a minimum of 3 sources referenced. You should include info about:
Talk about what the harm reduction framework is, what (if any) controversy surrounds it, and how does it relate to client self-determination?
What are the primary medications currently being used to treat SUDs, how does each one work in the body, and what are the pros and cons of each one?
Talk about any controversy related to medications for SUDs and why some people working in addiction treatment do not agree with their use.
