There is a mistake on two dates towards the end of the tax return facts given. Initially, the final section of the handout states that the following cash payments and donations are paid out in 2022. Later there are two items that state the contrary:
1) “Federal taxes due for 2021 Tax return paid in April 2020 $6,200”
2) “Apple stock purchased on 1/2/2022 for $2,000 and donated on 12/31/2023 when FMV was $4,000.”
April 2020 in 1) and 12/31/2023 in 2) should instead reflect 2022 year and should read as follows:
1) “Federal taxes due for 2021 Tax return paid in April 2022 $6,200”
2) “Apple stock purchased on 1/2/2022 for $2,000 and donated on 12/31/2022 when FMV was $4,000.”
