As a minimum, the essay must cover the following points:
a. The context of the current criticism of the existing DOM.
b. The strengths and weaknesses of the DOM with respect to military capability.
c. Key recommendations and suggested improvements to the DOM.
The Essay should evaluate the existing model, consider amendments and/or alternatives, with justification. It must include:
o The context of the current criticism of the existing DOM (Why now?).
o The strengths and weaknesses of the DOM with respect to military capability (What
now?).
o Key recommendations and suggested improvements to the DOM (What next?).
o If possible to learn from elsewhere, Saudi Arabia in particular as they are currently doing MoD transformation, cite it as a best practice then please do.
