This is the hypothesis:
If social media increases symptoms of depression and anxiety, then participants who use social media excessively should be more likely to experience symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Below are requirements and guide to this section:
How many participants will be in your sample size and how many participants do you need to make the study valid and reliable?
What measurement tools are you using/ how will you interpret your data? How will you make sure your measurement tools have validity?
Are you using a standardized test or scale? If so discuss and explain reasoning behind choosing that.
If creating your own questions and guidelines of observation, explain and academically support the rationale behind your data collection and evaluation process.
Explain how you will compare results from the experiment group and the control group and how that will support your hypothesis.
