The purpose of this assignment is for you to firmly understand what you MUST do while writing your term paper, you will visit the library and pull four academic journal articles related to income inequality in the US (Table 1. Income and Earnings Summary Measures by Selected Characteristics: 2015 and 2016) – you are choosing to compare two different types of household incomes – click on Table 1 to see the different households to write about. You will need the guidance of a librarian to pull actual academic articles. Note – you are NOT pulling news articles or government papers but peer reviewed articles (any librarian will know what this means). From each of the paper you pull, you will need to identify the following information:
What is the title of the article?
What motivated the author to write this article (i.e., identify the purpose of writing the article)
Did the author achieve the purpose set for him/herself?
Provide the citations for each of the papers using APA format (i.e., list in alphabetical order
Note: Each time you make an assertion in a research paper, you MUST cite the author including the year the article was published e.g. According to research findings, income discrimination among Americans has been rising since 2012 (Alms, 2013).
