-5 minutes minimum
-Use 3-4 reliable sources for finding your information (have a slide at the end with links as your bibliography)
-PowerPoint presentation is not required (number of slides is up to you!) Please have the powerpoint in the background while you are presenting…
-Topic is to be geared towards Texas government in a “pro or con” argument
– Formulate your argument and educate the class (me) on your topic. Assume that we know nothing about your topic, and inform us why we should join your side of the argument or belief…
– IE: If you present about abortion, please present a brief background on the laws/legislation surrounding abortion before beginning your pro vs. con argument
– List of potential topics to choose from can be found below
– A short series of Q&A will occur after your presentation
– Please remain respectful of other students opinions throughout the presentations
– Remember to have fun, and keep an open mind when selecting your topic!
– There will be NO extensions. This is your final exam, so please keep that in mind when presenting your facts and side of the argument.
*the only topic that is off limits is the death penalty!!!
