For your research, find three sources, e.g. an article, video, podcast, infographic, etc. on the topic you selected.
Note: each source must be recent and reliable. Below, please find a Reliable Source List to use if you’re not sure where to start looking for a source.
Write up a short summary (150-200 words) on each source; three summaries in total.
Write a citation for each source; use APA style.

Submit your three research summaries. Be sure to cite the article by following the example below.
Reliable Source List
You can use a video, podcast, radio broadcast, or a written article as a source. Just be sure they are from a reliable and credible source.

Reuters
National Public Radio
Politico
Any other reliable and credible source. Not sure if a source is reliable and credible? Contact the Skyline College library. They will help you out!
Research Summary Guidelines
Write up a summary for each of the sources you found. Here’s how:
First, cite the article us APA format.
Second, summarize the source. What are the main arguments? What is the point of this resource? What topics are covered? If someone asked what this article/book is about, what would you say?
Third, assess. Is it a useful source? Is the information reliable? Is this source biased or objective? What is the goal of this source?
Fourth, reflect: Was this source helpful to you? How does it help you shape your argument? How can you use this source in your research project? Has it changed how you think about your topic?
