I am ok with you answering each question separately as opposed to trying to synthesize it into one big paper, for example, “1. Theories that Fit, 2. Comfortable Techniques…”
· Just be sure you answer EVERY question in a way that lets me know you put thought into your response. I can always tell when someone writes this paper an hour before class
· No need for APA here except if you cite something. If you cite, include references.
· This should be written in first person!
· 9-10 pages is the absolute longest it can be! Typically, people answer each question in 1-1.5 pages.
· Do not stress over this one – it really is a way for you to process techniques and theories, and for me to better understand you as a counselor. Fully answer questions, consider spelling and grammar, and don’t worry!
· Remember, I don’t expect you to have one theory that you always use! I’m just looking for you to start thinking about the ones that seem to fit your style, and those that do not. Same with techniques!
