More recently, and particularly since the development of DNA technology, we have come to understand that eyewitness identifications, standing alone, are notoriously unreliable and a major cause of wrongful convictions. Cross racial identifications have proven particularly problematic.
For this assignment, write a four-page paper discussing the issue of eyewitness evidence. Discuss the leading U.S. Court cases concerning the admissibility of eyewitness identifications and recent suggestions for improving their accuracy.
Each paper should be approximately four pages long (not including any cover or reference page). The papers must address topic assigned. At least three sources other than the assigned text should be employed in writing each paper.
