Topic proposal: The world needs more nurses. But are we eliminating potentially good nurses based on test scores (from NCLEC, TEAS, HESI A2, etc.)? And how we can help fix it (IDEAS IF NEEDED: how many nurses fail entry into a nursing program, how many fail out of nursing school, and how many fail nclex as well as reasons why they fail – teacher error? Teaching methods, nursing school being realistic of what is seen, etc. Or a Student error? Cheating, not studying, etc? Good nurses but bad test takers? Test anxiety? Etc.) -At minimum, five evidence-based practice articles are required, no more than 10 years old. -AT LEAST 5 journal articles. You may also use websites and nursing book BUT it does not count toward the 5 journal articles. Utilize professional nursing organization websites and research will be helpful in addressing this topic. -Discuss the pros and cons identified in the literature and support your points of view utilizing research articles. It is expected that the references you examine will be helpful in completely addressing this topic. -Your final paper should be a minimum of 3-4 typed pages (10-12 font), plus a title and reference page. Do not include an abstract. Follow all APA 7th edition formatting.
