Make sure you complete the two appendixes (press release and SOP). Please see the directions for this project as these need to be in your presentation at the end as appendixes.
You should mention about the civil liabilities about preserving the video footage for the statutory time frames — under public records laws, these video recordings must be preserved for a certain duration of time and presented to any public record request (with proper redactions). If the police do not preserve these video recordings or purposefully destroy them, then the agency can be sued for the tort of “spoilation of evidence” (which is a tort). You should explain this tort and its elements and relate it to your topic
