Memo-2: Indigenous Governance-reflection
The intent of the memo to offer a reflection on Indigenous Governance in the Canadian context.
Minimum length of memo will need to be 4 pages double spaced (handwritten) to a maximum length of 7 pages.
You need not get too deep, instead read and watch the 2 of the assigned content and refer, where it is needed, the work that we have done in class.
You should demonstrate that you understand the material (summary), that you have used critical analysis (refer to what you have
learned so far) and offer an empirical reflection (using other sources).

Horn-Miller’s article covers the history and current place Kahnawd:ke governance. This governance emerged out of community mandate that look to traditional forms practiced in this Mohawk community east of Montreal. This paper explores origins of how the legislative process of Kahnawd:ke worked and works in the modern context.
