Instructions:
-USE THE ISC (TUTORING CENTER) IF YOU NEED HELP WITH MLA FORMAT OR ESSAY WRITING.
-There is no need for MLA format for the margins and headings for the exam.  You do not need a cover page but have your name on the first page of the exam; you don’t need to put my name on the paper (I know what my name is, lol).
-SEE “Syllabus” TAB FOR MLA 8 GUIDE
– Use the textbook(has to be used in all essays for definitions), handouts, posted videos,and class notes BEFORE you go to other sources; when you have to choose other sources, do not:
      – Use any form of a dictionary or encyclopedia
      – Use nonresearch based sites ( ex. Livestrong.com)
SPECIFICS:
1)Complete the exam as one file with one Works Cited page for the entire exam.
2) Each question should have its own page (also at least one page in length, double spaced) and have the question listed at the top of the page.
3) Scholarly writing – limit personal pronouns and examples (all examples should be research-based).
3) Upload the assignment by the due date.
4) Late exams will not be graded and will result in a “0”.
5) Save as a PDF file if Word file will not open.
6) Don’t save as a “zip” as the system cannot open.
