I have attached all guidelines and questions. My clinical rotation was at pain management clinic. I saw lumbar, thoracic, and cervical epidural injections. first the doctor came and talked to the patients at their room then we moved the patients to the operation room. I helped putting on the ECG, pulse oximeter, and blood pressure cuff. After the procedure is done we transport the patient to the recovery room. the Aultman Pain Management Center, a facility dedicated to treating chronic pain that lasts 6 months or longer. In addition to observing pain management procedures and the work of the healthcare team, the day was filled with various experiences and observations. During my visit, I observed various pain management procedures, including those for the trigeminal nerve, knee, lumbar spine, epidurals, and neck. These procedures varied in the approach, with some involving numbing the area while others utilized low levels of sedation. The choice depended on the severity of the pain and the individual’s health condition. It was enlightening to see how these procedures can provide relief to individuals suffering from chronic pain. I encountered individuals with a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including back, neck, shoulder, and musculoskeletal pain, among others. It was evident that chronic pain affects people from all walks of life and can have a significant impact on their daily activities.
