Hello everyone, 
Health care leaders have a significant obligation to guarantee the manageable tasks of their associations. Sustainability initiatives have become more significant, so health care leaders should be provided with the right tools and resources for the best possible outcomes. One resource available to health leaders is Healthier Hospitals Initiative which helps healthcare organizations reduce their environmental impact and create a more sustainable healthcare system (Silvis, 2012). HHI provides an abundance of tools and resources to help healthcare organizations reduce their environmental impact and improve their sustainability over time. The benefits of HHI is overall efficiency and cost savings while improving patient and employee satisfaction (Silvis, 2012). 
Another resource for healthcare leaders is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design green building rating system that is designed to help healthcare facilities improve the environmental performance of their buildings. The LEED rating system provides a set framework that evaluates the building’s environmental performance such as energy efficiency, water efficiency, material selection, indoor air quality (LEED, 2023). The benefits of the LEED rating system are improved energy efficiency and cost savings along with improved indoor air quality.
