AGENCY PAPER (WRITTEN REPORT): This is a critical analysis of the social service agency you selected. Though you are expected to conduct the interview as a group, you must each submit an individually written report of at least five full typed pages in length (not including the cover page, abstract, or references list). Please bold the headings below in your paper.

The paper is to be written in narrative format and should include:
Agency mission statement/values/philosophy
Agency type (public/private, profit/nonprofit)
Organizational structure—governing body, funding sources, administration
Description of services provided
Criteria for client eligibility and description of the population served—race, gender, age, income, sexual orientation, disability status
Description of an “average day” at the agency
Personnel/staffing—include an organizational chart with a brief description of staff and responsibilities
Diversity of staff—gender, race, types of professions, education
Special issues/needs of the agency
How the agency is impacted by the current legislative/political climate and issues
How COVID-19 affected the agency. What has changed in the way you provide services or see clients.
Examples of social work values or value conflicts you observed at the agency
Ideas you have to better serve this agency’s clients
Your overall impression of the agency
