As trade blocks have become very common throughout the world, the EU is one of the strongest and largest. Turkey, one of the largest emerging economies, has been trying to become a member of the EU for decades. Answer the following:
1. Do you think Turkey should be allowed to become a member of the EU? Why or why not.
2. Given the recent changes in the economy in Europe, do you think it would still be an advantage for Turkey to be part of the EU?
