Collecting Data
With input from your past/current field supervisor or contact person within the organization you are using for this assignment, select a collaboration to evaluate.
To evaluate the partnership for your chosen organization, you will conduct two (2) interviews (each team member must conduct one (1) interview). You will complete the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory with the partnership representatives during the interview. Interviews may be conducted in any format to which you both agree (e.g., webex, phone, Zoom, Google hangout).
Gather and review written materials that describe the collaboration such as a grant, memorandum of understanding, or written guidelines.
Interview Guide: Use the following guide for your interviews, making adaptations as needed.

Explain the purpose of your assignment, including how you will conduct the interview.
Explain the purpose of the Inventory and how to complete it using the instructions found in the Mattessich, et al book.
Administer the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory prior to or at the beginning of your interview. Please copy the Inventory (or use the pdf version found in Module 1 on iCollege) to give to each representative to complete. Ask the representative to answer the questions on the Inventory based on his/her/their involvement in the collaboration.
Please follow the outline below to write your paper. Your paper should be in APA format, approximately 8-10 pages (not including the references and appendices). Your paper must be double-spaced using 12-point Times New Roman font and 1-inch margins.
Part D: Results
Results from the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory :
Score, summarize and interpret the results from the Inventory completed by the representatives of the collaboration. Use the instructions in Chapter 6 of Mattessich, et al. (2018) to guide the analysis and interpretation of your results. You must include the following:
Calculate average scores for each factor area for each representative (in separate columns) and for all the representatives together (one column). You must put the scores in a table like the one on used by Mattessich, et al. (p. 68).
What do the overall scores tell you about the strengths and/or weaknesses of the collaborative? What is your overall impression of the collaboration based on the overall scores? You must use the guidelines in Mattessich, et al. to interpret the scores.
Using the scores for the organizations together, what are the two (2) highest- rated factors (strengths) and the two (2) lowest-rated factors (weaknesses/challenges)?
Describe anything you noticed about the similarities or dissimilarities of the scores.
2. Results from the Interviews and Additional Questions :
Use the responses from your interview guide to describe and summarize the results of your interviews. You may include items such as:
How did each of the representatives describe the benefits/strengths of the collaboration? How did they describe the challenges/weaknesses? How did their responses in the interviews compare with their Wilder Inventory scores in the same areas? Were there any discrepancies?
What other important areas did the representatives discuss?
