Weekly Reflections: After completing the weekly assignments you will provide a reflection of your week’s learning process. This should include your personal thoughts on the information you learned, any complications or positive aspects of your learning experience. Elaborate on areas that you need to improve and things that led to your success. Grading will be based on the thoroughness of your responses and depth of your reflection, and spelling and grammar. Late assignments will be marked down 5% every week.
These are some resources of things we learned this week.

The daunting question, “What does the professor want us to do this semester?” You have come to the right place for the answers. Below you will find a brief description of assignments you are required to complete during the semester. The assignments are meant to broaden your knowledge of EHS topics and help you build skills that employers want you to learn for any job. This class is an introductory course which means you will learn about many things in EHS. You may expect to spend approximately 10 hours a week learning course information and completing assignments.
COURSE ORGANIZATION
This is a full semester-length course, and all content is organized into weekly learning units. Every week on Sunday morning, you will have a new learning module open. Every following Sunday at midnight, your unit assignments are due, except for the initial response for the weekly discussion. You must complete your initial response to the discussion by Wednesday, and the two classmate responses are due by Sunday.
Each week you will be expected to make contact in the course through submitted assignments, discussions, reading, watching videos, instructor-student correspondence, or attending online group meetings. You should complete all weekly homework tasks on time. Completing these assignments will better prepare you to participate with other students during online meetings, future assignments, and discussions.
COURSE SYLLABUS
The course syllabus is located in the course syllabus tab of Canvas and due dates for assignments. You can locate the Syllabus tab by clicking on this link. (https://gcccd.instructure.com/courses/53214/assignments/syllabus) The syllabus is another tool to display assignments and points, schedule, class policies, and additional information to resources. If you have a course-specific question, you may want to look in the syllabus first.

Every week you will have a list of reading and multimedia assignments to complete. There is no book, so I will post PDFs, website links, or documents. It is recommended that you complete reading/viewing before the discussion to add insight to the topics relative to each week. If you can not access the content, email me as soon as possible to make sure you have access.

Every week you will have discussion questions to answer on the written discussion board. You are encouraged to participate multiple days to get a more in-depth student experience with your classmates. You will receive 75 points for your initial post and 25 points for two robust responses to your peers’ initial post.
