The goal is to turn in about 300 words in complete sentences and 1 image.
Investigate the live murder victim “Stan Farr, TCU basketball player” and his alleged murderer, Cullen Davis, the husband of his girlfriend Priscilla Davis.
Info to seek out: Where was he from? What was his profession? What is he known for? Who are his relatives? Try to find a photo of him.
What do you get if you search in Google? Try putting the name in quotation marks to search both Stan and Farr together.
What happens if you search in Google Scholar and tick the box for “Case Law”? (You probably need to use Cullen’s name, since he’s the defendant in the cases about Stan Farr’s death).
What happens if you search in Proquest? (a newspaper and article archive that is free through the TCU library portal). What dates are on the articles?
Now search for Stan Farr on Find a grave. You’re looking for the one born in 1945. When did he die? Who are his relatives? What happens if you click the live links to find them?
Now search for Stan Farr in TCU Athletics, or College Basketball stats. How tall was he? What position did he play? How strong was his record?
Does Stan have any survivors?
