Students are to choose whatever topic you wish to write about that is related to correctional administration and conduct research from empirical studies from academic journal and complete a research paper. This paper will be a minimum of 8-10 pages (excluding title page and references) with at least 6 references. This paper must written in 12 point Times New Roman Font and double spaced with 1 inch (normal) margins in Microsoft Word. If you have a reference at the end you must use that reference as a citation in the paper.

All work must be cited according to APA 7th Edition and you can not have more than 10% quoted material in the paper.  This means you must paraphrase 90% of your work.  All papers are submitted through TurnIt In and if the result is over 15%, the paper will be returned for corrections.  The paper must be written in APA format 7th edition and assistance with APA format can be found in the content section of this course. References must be articles that are scholarly peer reviewed studies from academic journals (no wikipedia or similar sites). Empirical studies only.
