some students have a background, identity, interest or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
-This is the college prompt that I have chosen.
I have grown up in a small town city called Miami Springs. I love my city. Its’s small but full of heart.
There I have learned and played softball my whole life. I have met people that have become my extended family because of softball.
It has taught me from being a team player to having a great work ethic to being loyal.
This city has provided me with a hometown feeling that gives me great pride in where I live and the need to protect it. That’s where the criminal justice part would come in. I would want to pay it forward to the next generation by serving it. making it the best place to live also learning from example of my parents which one is a police officer and the other a school teacher. I want to contribute in a positive way to my community. I also love my school that i attend in my city. It. has the small town feel as well. I have worked at the parks and recreation for the past two summer working with children. I have volunteered in the miami springs womens club thats serves the needs of families in our community.
FSU looks for three things in a student strength, skill, and character. I feel like these are all good examples to put in my essay to remind the reader that I embody those qualities. I want to make a connection in my paper with the university. Also let them know I can contribute those same qualities at FSU.
