Review the moderator guides created by your other group members. Look at the questions in their guides – would responses to these questions provide insight in to their proposed research questions? What problems do you see? How could these problems be fixed?
We are not expecting you to finish this peer review during class time. If there are students who are not in class they have until three days after class to email you their moderator guides. If they fail to do this you are excused from reviewing their submissions.
Spend about 5 minutes making notes reflecting your thoughts on each moderator guide. This means if there are four other students in your group you will spend 20 minutes making notes (4 * 5 = 20). Make these notes in Word as you will be submitting these notes to the instructors.
Once you have finished making your notes put them all in a single document. For each new moderator guide you review start a new page. For example, page 1 has the title ‘Student A’s moderator guide’ and contains just your thoughts on student A’s guide (where student A is replaced by that person’s name). Page 2 has the title ‘Student B’s moderator guide’ and contains just your thoughts on student B’s guide and so on (again instead of writing student B you write the actual student’s name).
You can format your feedback as track changes in Word or you can write feedback at the end of each moderator guide.
