The Exploratory Writings are opportunities for you to practice your “literacy craft.” By writing consistently, you are working to become a better reader, writer, and thinker. This is practice.
Moreover, the EWs have a significant impact on your overall grade. This (and every) EW will play a significant role in the way your final portfolios are graded.
Also, be sure to put appropriate headers in all of your EWs: on the upper left of your paper, include your name, the EW# and title, and the date.
