visual map of the locations of the crimes that are occurring.
Instructions:
• Using the crime reports and data matrix, create a map of the locations of the
crimes that are occurring.
o Use mapping software, i.e. Zee Maps, Google Maps, Mapline,
Easymapmaker, etc.
o Include a different color or icon for each type of crime.
• In a Word document, discuss observations from the crime map as a Crime
Analyst.

o Describe what is evident in the crime map.
