In order to gain an understanding of multimedia applications and related technologies, you are going to take a deep dive into researching one of the topics below through a research essay. The goal of this research essay is for you to select a multimedia suite and explore all aspects and components so you might leverage its use in this course and future forward. Students should:
-Research (This section must have parenthetical citations) (about 3 pages)
-research the multimedia suite and provide an overview of its purpose and use
-DESCRIBE AT LEAST 6 COMPONENTS OF THE SUITE! For example, Adobe Creative Suite has 20; you would pick 6 to highlight.
-You also must choose at least THREE components that are common and three that are not common. For example, in Google Workspace, you could highlight three common components like Sheets, Drive, or Calendar, and less common components like Draw, Jamboard, or Keep. Use your best judgment on which are common and which are not. If you are unsure, you can always send me your selected components, and I can let you know.
-Explain how people are using the multimedia suite and discuss which sectors leverage the suite the most (general public, military, education, corporate, etc.)
-Highlight specific technologies best suited for your particular multimedia suite (tablet, desktop, portable device, digital camera, etc.)
NOTE: You must address EACH of the bullets above in your research essay!
Opinion / Your Own Thoughts (about 1 page)
-Explore and take a deep dive into one of the most interesting components of the suite and discuss which component you are most likely to use or which you would like to explore more.
-Describe how you might use specific components of the multimedia suite in your collegial career and beyond (into your career)
