I need a thematic analysis completed with the dataset I will provide to you. The paper itself is a scoping review about the long-term outcomes of SEL programs in k-12 school systems- I will provide my thesis for you to read to get the background knowledge needed for the analysis. Furthermore, the articles are available for you to read. There are 11 articles. Please read them and familiarize yourself with them before conducting the thematic analysis. Then, please follow the 6 steps required for a rigorous thematic analysis.
Some questions to ask that might help guide the analysis: a) what do the studies have in common and what are their differences? b) what framework/theory might be able to help explain these commonalities and differences? For example, the majority of studies have been done in the USA- *likely* because they are a rich country with a lot of resources that can be allocated to researching and developing such programs; they also *may* have a need for these types of programs based on their extremely diverse social aspects and non-universal healthcare system.
If I were you, I would go through each column in the spreadsheet and compare and contrast the articles to each other. When you get to baseline characteristics, you will likely have to refer back to the articles to figure out what the baseline characteristics were and compare them to the outcome findings to see if and how much the programs were effective or not.
