Four assignments will be due over the course of the semester as part of your Neighborhood Profile Project. This is the first assignment. The overall goal of this project is to critically investigate your local neighborhood using concepts and theories from class and your own research skills.
In this first assignment, you will introduce your neighborhood and take three photos in your neighborhood that each demonstrate a different course concept like urbanization, suburbanization, and gentrification. You are encouraged to refer to the Key Concept Index (under “Resources” on iCollege) to get ideas for course concepts.
