University Memorial Hospital is considering the possibility of building and operating a day care center on site. There are many factors to consider. The CEO and Board of Directors feel you are the most competent leader on the leadership team to help them determine the most strategic direction for the operation. You will use available resources to build your recommendation. A successful plan will demonstrate your leadership and capabilities and most likely land the promotion you have been working toward.
Note: This assignment calls for demonstrating the ability to incorporate learning from the textbook, lectures, videos and other outside reading reference material. Your recommendation to a) build an onsite day care center or b) to forego building a day care center will impact the strategic operational direction of University Memorial Hospital.
