This discussion will differ from previous ones as it doesn’t directly tie to subjects for this week’s module. Instead this is part 3 of your Portfolio project. To reiterate;
Part 1: Identifying two social problems. In your rubric feedback, approval was given with which one to proceed forward with.
Part 2: The Literature Review which you should be actively working on or have already constructed.

Given that this is in a discussion format, you’ll be sharing with your classmates the focus of your portfolio; the specific social problem you are investigating. You are expected to construct a coherent analysis that highlights one main causes you want to emphasize regarding your social problem and two consequences associated to it (one must be short-term, the other is a long-term consequence). Ideally, these will be based on evidence-based research (which should have been conducted during Step 2). Therefore, don’t forget to embed proper in-text citations and construct references. Remember that a successful response post not only identifies challenges and solutions but also presents a well-structured, evidence-based argument. Ultimately, what you construct in your post should not exceed 3 paragraphs.
