The instructions for completing this lab assignment can be found in the ENVR 1401/1402 Lab Manual at Lab 9 Field Sampling – Plant Diversity on pages 63-67. The background file is the file from pages 63-67.
When you complete your work, please submit the following:
1) Your data tables from your sampling of two communities,
2) Your answers to the worksheet on pages 69-71. These questions are asking for your calculations, as well as analysis questions. The questions are attached to the Biodiversity worksheet as well.
For this section, you should have calculations for species richness, the Shannon diversity index, and evenness for each location.
