[Job] Interview Types and Techniques (25 points – 5 points per interview type)
Assignment Instructions:
In Module/Chapter 14-Finding a Job the objective of preparing your cover message, résumé, and reference list is to GET AN INTERVIEW.
One of the Learning Outcomes from the INTERVIEWING section of the module/chapter discusses how to differentiate between types of interview situations and identify appropriate interview techniques for each. Every interview you participate in will be unique. The people you meet with, the interview setting, and the questions you’ll be asked will all be different from interview to interview.
A good strategy for planning is to anticipate the type of interview you may find yourself in. There are seven (7) common formats for job interviews listed in your textbook. By knowing a bit more about each type and being aware of techniques that work for each, you can plan to be on your game no matter what form your interview takes.
Name and describe in detail ONLY five (5) out of the seven (7) interview types AND techniques you would use to make yourself stand out and be chosen for the job.
Please be sure to prepare your answer using separate paragraphs that begin with the name of the type of interview. Your responses must be substantive and use complete sentences, appropriate writing mechanics, and proper punctuation.
Submission Instructions:
Type your response directly into the content editor box – OR – prepare your document using a word processing software and upload the document file. A good rule of thumb is to prepare your response on the Word document anyway, then copy and paste it into the content editor box to avoid losing your information in the event of a computer or electricity issue.
