Chapter 10: Intimate Life
Analyze yourself with respect to racial identity formation. What stage of racial identity formation best describes where you are right now? Does one of the stages described in this chapter under the heading “racial identity formation” best express your current state of mine? Also, analyze how you may have changed to arrive at the state you are at now. Finally, describe where you would like to go in the future.

Imagine a society that is racially just. What would that look like? How would your daily life be different in such a society? List some ways you can work for racial Justice in your daily life. List at least one way you can change yourself, the people in your inner circle, an institution to which you belong, and your nation. As you do so, think about what kinds of resistance you might face and what you can do to overcome the resistance.
