Find any youtube video of these 4 world famous classical music performers (do all 4)!!:
Pepe Romero, guitar
Sheku Kanneh-Mason, cello
Joshua Bell, violin
Kathleen Battle, soprano
Any piece of music they play is fine! 2-10 minutes in length.
Write a minimum -1800 word paper using the following process and criteria:
****Do all 4 performers/performances
Follow this procedure for “each” performer/performance!
Listen to entire piece that you choose!
write a short biography of the performer
find out who composed the piece of music and – write a short biography of the composer
research and describe the piece of music using these criteria: 1.) period/style 2.) discuss at least 1 structural concept (key, form, texture)
Your personal thoughts of the music in at least 2 sentences!
After you finish each of the four performers, do a proofreading and proof listening!
Each performance – biography of performer, biography of composer, music descriiption/analysis.
12 point font double spaced
Include cover page
Internet research is acceptable
Use any info/websites except Wikipedia
Due date: see module for due date and to upload
bibliography is required
The paper should be 1800 words minimum with extra cover page and bibliography
